EPBC ACT APPROVAL (ref 2021/9137)
The Mount Hopeful Windfarm has been granted approval under section 133(1) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) on the 19th April 2024. This is a significant milestone for the project and is one of the main approvals required for the project to be considered ready to build. This approval followed many months of hard work by our environmental consultants, owners engineers and many more people associated with the project. Neoen also worked closely with the Department to answer all additional questions during the assessment process, which was very detailed. We wish to give our thanks to all people involved in the process, and look forward to our next steps.
