The Mount Hopeful Wind Farm has been determined a ‘controlled action’ by the Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment. This means that the project will require assessment and approval under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

The project will be assessed using preliminary documentation. This documentation relies on several years of ecology survey efforts across the project site. Neoen will work with the Department to answer any additional questions during the assessment process.
